Functional Threshold Power Estimator
Functional Threshold Power (FTP) is the highest average power you can sustain for about an hour on the bike.
It’s a key measure of cycling fitness and is used to set training zones, track progress, and compare performance. Knowing your FTP helps you train smarter by making sure your training intervals are the right intensity.
My calculator gives you an estimated FTP based on age, gender, experience, and weight.
Note - It's just a very rough guide to get you started. I highly recommend doing an FTP test (20-minute or ramp test) for more accurate numbers.
Remember, your FTP is just a number, it’s an estimate, not a verdict!
